French Door Fridge With Ice Maker

Unlike standard refrigerators, French door refrigerators are designed to fit flush with the counters in your kitchen to create a stylish design. This slim design also conserves space in the freezer.

Before purchasing, make sure to check the exact dimensions to ensure that it is suitable for your home, advises Hernandez. Make sure that there is enough space to allow for ventilation from all sides, and that the doors can fully open without hitting cabinets or blocking the hallway.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Bosch is a premium brand that is known for its top-of-the-line refrigerators. Their counter-depth French door models are flush with your counters for an integrated look. The refrigerators are quiet and efficient and include smart-home features that let you control it with your smartphone or tablet. The fridge is large enough to hold space for groceries and leftovers. This model features an ice maker that produces fresh, clean ice in a matter of minutes. It's simple to use, and it's also easy to use. The ice and water dispensers are inside the fridge rather than in the front, so they don't detract from the sleek look of the exterior. The dispensers can be used with any cold beverage, which includes juice and sports drinks. This refrigerator is robust stainless steel finish that withstands scratches and scratches. It's fingerprint-resistant, too. If you're concerned about smudges forming on your surfaces, use a cleaner that gets rid of fingerprints without harsh chemicals.

This refrigerator comes with a large interior space of 20.5 cubic feet and Bosch's patented farmfresh system with four cutting-edge freshness technology which keep fruits, vegetables and leftovers fresh up to three times as long as the average. The temperature of the freezer is near-perfect, with a range of less than a fraction of a degree away from the ideal.

Although the Bosch refrigerator is pricier than the GE Appliances model, it offers more features, making it worth the extra cost. It has a door-in-door storage space, which allows you to store some food items in a container that fits right in the fridge door, and it features a drawer that converts to five temperature settings that are designed to accommodate different types of beverages such as snacks, meat, and wine. The Bosch refrigerator comes with a smart home feature known as Home Connect which lets you manage it remotely via your phone or tablet.

The only downsides of this fridge are its thin main drawer as well as the difficult to use main door latch to the right. The fridge is an excellent option for kitchenettes as well as single households that require more space than a French-door refrigerator can offer. And the stainless steel is a gorgeous design element to any kitchen.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

LG counter-depth refrigerators are slim and offer a lot of space. They're also priced less than standard-depth French door refrigerators and remove the need for a separate smaller under-counter freezer. The LG Smart Mirror InstaView Counter-Depth Refrigerator (LMWC23626S) that offers the capacity of a standard refrigerator with an elegant and contemporary design, isn't any different. It also comes with an internal dispenser that provides easy access to drinking water.

This model's exterior showcases a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel finish and a mirrored InstaView panel that adds to the modern look of the interior. The door bins are spacious of space and the top shelf can be folded down to create a half-depth shelf that can hold taller items. A set of crisper drawers are located in the bottom of the refrigerator, and the deli drawer with a full width can be used for meat or produce.

The refrigerator has a recessed freezer on the back wall. This helps save space and allows you to store more ice bags. The refrigerator uses door cooling systems that makes use of vents on the fridge and freezer doors to push cold air in. It helps prevent hot spots and ensures the temperature of the refrigerator.

This LG refrigerator stood out during our tests. It has plenty of space to serve a family, but we noticed a few unsettling quirks. The freezer drawers aren't as cold as we'd like. The temperature of the middle drawer climbed to 41° during our peak use test, which is the temperature needed to freeze ice cream and other frozen food items. The temperature in the rest of your freezer was at around 36 degrees.

Another issue is that the refrigerator doors have sunken handles on the inside and beneath which makes it difficult for those who are smaller to move them closed.  french door fridge freezers  may seem minor but we prefer front mounted handles on refrigerators, as they are easier to open and close.

This fridge is expensive but it's worth it for those who want a sleek look in their kitchen. This refrigerator is recommended for those looking to upgrade their refrigerator or those who are building new homes and want a seamless look for their kitchen.

Samsung Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Samsung's newest counter-depth French-door fridge called the RF23M8090SG is priced at $4200. It's a good-looking model that boasts useful features like an autofill water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It also performed well during our cooling test, but we're not a fan of the gimmicky handles or the fragile crisper bins.

Bespoke is a feature that makes the RF23M8090SG stand out. It lets you customize your refrigerator with removable colored panels. There are 11 color options, from soft pastels to bolder hues and four metallic finishes. These panels can be personalized to include photos or text. This will make the fridge more personal and can be matched to your Rick Owens dress, Andy Warhol banana neon, or tie-dye Crocs.

You can even change the color of the fridge's LED lighting, which is a nice touch. And the refrigerator's interior is finished in a way that helps reduce smudges and makes cleaning easier. The only real drawbacks of the RF23M8090SG is its crowded beverage center, and a little learning curve to open the door-indoor feature, which houses a water dispenser and an ice maker. You must feel for a lever on the side of the door that is halfway across, and once you have it the lever, it opens another door inside the fridge, which houses the pitcher docking station as well as the water dispenser, and two shelves for drinks.

The 6.8 cubic feet freezer compartment is big enough to store plenty of frozen food items. It also comes with a slide-out drawer that allows you to access the food you need without opening the entire compartment. There's also a butter-bin-style storage compartment in the freezer for easy storage of small items, and a large capacity drawer that stores bulkier frozen items. The drawer can be locked with an access code to keep intruders out, and it includes an LED light that is handy to let you see what's inside at glance. The freezer can also track the energy consumption and help you lower your power bill through the SmartThings Energy Mode.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

French door refrigerators are an excellent addition to any kitchen. They look neat and are suitable for any size of room. Counter-depth refrigerators are the best option if you want this look, but without the height. This model from Frigidaire, which we've tested extensively, has received an above-average rating in our reviews due to its low cost and thoughtful features, such as an adjustable temperature drawer.

It also has a few annoying issues. Our test data shows the FGHB2866PF can warm up quite a lot in the freezer and become uncomfortably hot in the innermost shelves of the fridge. This is evident in our heat maps, which show how much the interior temps fluctuate minute by minute. The butter bin in the orange area at the top right is especially warm during our test period. That might not seem so awful at first glance, but it means the fridge spends a good portion of its time above 33 degrees.

It's also worth mentioning that the FGHB2866PF isn't an Energy Star-certified model, which could be a factor for some buyers. The main issue is that this fridge isn't very good. It's not equipped with the latest features and a durable construction which makes it difficult to recommend it over more expensive models at this price.

This Frigidaire refrigerator is identical to the stainless steel version you may see in the local store for appliances. It's a safe choice with a brushed finish that looks good and is resistant to scratches, but it doesn't do much to differentiate itself from other brands that have more features and more affordable.

If you're looking for a counter-depth French-door fridge but don't want to spend a lot of money, the FGHC2331PF might be worth considering. It's got enough storage to meet the requirements of most families and does a good job at keeping food fresh. Even if it's not an energy-efficient unit, it's a lot cheaper than our top-rated models.
